I've tried 2 older drivers as well (but same outcome). To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver. (Code 28) A service installation section in this INF is invalid. The drivers for this device are not installed. However, under Device Manager, the USB NIC is now considered an "Unknown Device", and under device status it says: The program detects the USB NIC just fine and Then i downloaded latest drivers (albeit Windows 10 drivers) from TPlink website and installed it. However, when i plug it into the server, it detects it (under Device Manager) as an "802.11n NIC". I've recently purchased a TP-LINK TL-WN823N V3 device, and first tested it on my Windows 10 laptop.
